It all depends really. If you haven't been shortlisted then you won't hear at all I wouldn't have thought. Check when the jobs close and if you haven't heard anything two weeks after they close I would've thought you haven't been shortlisted. Good luck:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy

Hi
Slightly off topic but any advice on how long before you hear whether you have been successful with a NHS job application? I have applied for a couple of jobs (only last week) and just curious if they takes ages to respond, if they do at all?
Thanks
Some seem to take ages and some are really quick! Sorry not very helpful
I have been contacted by email, by phone and by mail for the various interviews I've had with the NHS. Keep applying for everything that you're interested in/qualified to do and you'll get plenty of interviews which should lead to a job offer. (They tell you very quickly if you've been successful or not and will offer good feedback too).
Good luck!
Hope the interview went well Aimee!“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

Well, had my interview & typing test ... I'm posting just to say that the "typing test" wasn't really that at all! Instead I had to edit & correct a pre-typed document; design a poster with certain information; and find & print map directions from the internet. It was certainly more interesting than any other tests I've done recently!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

So scary, I have 2 interviews. 1 came via the post and the other via email.
I haven't had an interview for years...... so need to brush up on interview techniques.
Thank you for the advice.0 -

Slightly off topic but here goes...
I had an interview last week with the NHS and they tried calling me back on my landline the following day but couldn't get through. (They eventually contacted me on my mobile).
Does anyone know if the NHS with-hold their numbers when contacting people? I've got a block on my Virgin landline to prevent anonymous callers from contacting me. I'm wondering if I should get it taken off...
I have another interview in 2 weeks and I don't want to miss any important calls. On the other hand, if I remove my call block I'm opening myself up to receiving loads of sales calls again.0 -
Yes, the phone calls I've had have been withheld numbers.
You could always contact them and say not to ring you on your landline, that you're only contactable on your mobile.“I tell you, we are here on Earth to fart around, and don't let anybody tell you different.”

Thanks for the reply. I'd already told them that I prefer to be contacted on my mobile but I'll remind them again after the next interview :beer:0
