This problem applies to two kitchen cupboards. Cupboard 1 is under the sink and cupboard 2 has the connection for the washing machine. In the past there has been leaks in the both cupboards which has been sorted. There is a slight musky if not mouldy smell in the cupboards. is there a way of getting rid of the smell?
Will moisture trap help?
Thanks in advance for the replies.

Hi,
I would give each cupboard a good wash down with hot bleachy water, dry off then wipe down again with hot water with a disinfectant in it, ( I like Zolflora), dry off and then put in a gel air freshener and change regularly.0 -
Start off with a good clean like FrigulMacDugal suggested but instead of using the gel smelly things, use Neutradol ones instead. This is unscented and seems to absorb the smell instead of masking it.
Also see if you can remove the kick strip and check what is lurking on the floor under the cupboardsThis problem applies to two kitchen cupboards.
