Has your health suffered in BR?

I don't know if its actually linked, but since going BR last summer I have been continually ill. I'm so fed up with being poorly, I'm 'almost' certain that its caused by the stress of BR.
I continually develop mouth ulcers, conjunctivitis, stomach cramps, sleep problems etc. I've seen my GP more times this year than in my entire life. Anti-biotics are my new best friend.
I just wonder if its because I am feeling so anxious and down. I completely feel that I made the right decision to go BR, but the stress has been overwhelming.
I was a type 0 debtor so have had no interview, which to some may seem great, but to me I have now realised that I feel a little in the dark (compared to friends who seem clear after their interviews). My early discharge was refused due to not being in an IPA, so now I'm all paranoid that every single penny is being watched and checked.
Oh Lordy, sorry if I seem negative. Friday night and on Anti-Bs again!

Hi, I don't think my physical health has suffered much, but I have been suffering with depression a little recently - but that has been brought on by stress at work too amongst other things! I am a type 0 too I guess, I didn't have an interview. I too know I made the right decision, but that doesn't make life post BR any easier right now.

Keep your chin up and take things easy, take care.

At first I thought being a Type 0 was great (less stress), now I wish I had an interview as I dont know how they 'view' me, if that makes sense.
Forgot to add that I have non-stop ear-ache, sore throats and itchy rashes on legs. All stress related I am sure.
I'm literally living for August so that I can be free and start my new life.
I also feel that other peoples perceptions of BR get me down. I'm a good person who is law abiding, pays her taxes and works non-stop in her spare time for a charity (voluntary), yet a certain person got wind of my BR and has made it her business to tell everyone resulting in some awful comments (BTW, this person has claimed benefits illegally, does all sorts etc, but is viewed to be the 'good one' because she is not br!!) Just wish I could educate people!
Anyway, enough ranting from moi. Doing my health no favours!

yes being a type 0 is ok but every time I have to phone the OR or something, I hate doing it because I feel I don't know how they are going to react whereas if I had had an interview then I would at least have a better knowledge of the people dealing with my case.

I haven't told anyone at all about my BR except my OH (no family or friends or anyone) and I have no idea if anyone knows but has not spoken to me about it or have just decided to talk about me behind my back (but I don't want to know either). I hate busybodies who are like the pot calling the kettle black!

Just concentrate on yourself and your health and forget everything else because nothing and no one else is that important above your health and happiness.

My psoriasis has raised its ugly head again sadly - had been almost clear for a while :(

Stress can cause all of those things Dolly. Don't worry about ED (or anything else about your BR!) its done now so just get on with living. Don't let it get you down. Try and list 5 good things you've done per day - and they don't have to be major, like taking time out for yourself, sitting in the park, cooking a good meal etc.

Thank you all for your replies.
Feel better today, but have an abscess!
I'm glad that I am not the only one who feels a little lost with being a Type 0. I try to avoid the OR at all costs as the fear of not knowing what to expect terrifies me.
I'm in the processs of purchasing the BI and must admit that it has been fairly painless so far. Rationale tells me that I'm not a a criminal, just a single-mum, trying to do her best who borrowed too much whilst on maternity leave (£12k). So if I were to be told off by the OR then I'm sure I would bounce back okay.

Anyway, valuable lessons have been learnt and I wholeheartedly embrace my new life. Roll on August though!
