We posted at the same time FYP, sorry didn't mean to ignore your post!

I think my problem is that I project such an image of happiness, I sometimes get caught up in it myself and then come crashing down with a bump when I remind myself that I am BR.......guilt almost.
I am extremely fortunate to have two healthy children, a lovely little home, a wonderful job and a great, big circle of friends. Then I have all these minor health problems and it just reminds me underneath the facade, is a woman who is terrified that she may lose everything through irresponsible borrowing.
Anyway, sun is shining, so walking into town at 9am then going to spend a day in the garden.
Enjoy the sunshine everyone and thank you for taking the time to respond.

leading up to it, i was in utter dispair paying out all the loans, credit card and catalouges that had built up over 10 years, and store cards. I was offered one following another, on the basis that others had given similar, eventually i was paying out all my grown up children's high disability benefits and we were eating rice and pasta, so in a course of 10 years i would say it was hard for me to keep going and avoid a breakdown, we were eating rice and pasta and i put on 4 stone causing very high blood pressure, the medication was increased very rapidly to an almost top level, leaving me in an almost stupor and unable to function, since a debt company stepped in and suggested a token payment to each, resulting in one phoning and as good as telling me a hitman would be around to sort the situation around and another telling me the bailliffs would come and empty the house, i decided on bankruptcy, i now have my appointment and have never felt better. Its over, whatever happens i don't care, they are gone and we are eating fruit. I have lost 2 stone sice February and the token payments started.
So no, but in the circumstances of the 10 years leading up to it i was very bad.
Bankruptcy is not the end for me it is the beginning.
    44lb off and 13 to go.:j
