Sorry if this is in the wrong section but this site is a mine field of info and I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.
I bought a TV last week from tesco 32" Technika model 209. Being honest the TV isn't a bad one and I can't reall find fault with it apart from the on/off switch being located on the side and itdoes get pixels up especially on BGT and Football.. Anyway after having this TV 5days I am now dithering about why I didn't get the larger model, better spec. I have looked on there on line website about returning goods via courier and believe this isn't a problem.
Bit I bought this out a Tesco Extra store and wondered if I could just return it there in the packaging with reciepts saying I don't like it now and want to exchange it for another model.
Thanks in advance

I used to work at Tesco when i was student.
Basically, just take it back, say it's faulty and then u can swap it for the larger spec you want.
MUCH easier way for you! [And they dont check faults there and then]0 -

I don't know what Tesco's policy is (I never shop there) but I don't expect it covers just taking things back for no reason. No harm in asking though.0 -
You can try but they are not obliged to at all - its not like taking a pair of socks back to M&S.
a) you will not be able to repackage the TV such that it couldn't be passed off as new
b) retailers rarely offer this sort of returns policy on electrical goods entirely because of a).0 -
I think Tesco now has a policy that if your electrical goods have a fault you have to ring their technical help people, the number of which is on the receipt. If they can't help sort out the problem they give you a reference number which allows you to take it back to the store for a refund or exchange. This happened to us with a printer a couple of years ago so I'm assuming it probably is the same for TVs etc.0

your right there is a symbol andif this symbol is on the receipt then you can take it back otherwise you need to call the helpline.
Oh well I think I'll just stick with what I have, just a shame I wasn't aware i needed a HD box to get a decent picture.
