I've got a couple of those ceramic beakers that keep coffee hot, the ones with the silicone lids. The lids stink if you put them in the dishwasher & now they've started smelling (of the previous drink) even if they are hand washed.
Any tips or ideas, they are soft white rubbery silicone type of material.0 -
could you soak them in sterilising fluid, as you would baby bottles and teats? Failing that, try soaking them in a solution of bicarb0

I find that thermos flasks smell horrible if stored with the lid on so leave them off. I also use the bicarb method to keep it smelling fresh and add boiling water to the bicarb before leaving it for a while and then rinsing out.0
