Feedback

I have just received an email from Ebay asking me to leave feedback for 2 items where the buyer did not pay and a dispute was opened and now over and the item was relisted. How should I deal with this please? TIA

As my mum would say, if you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

IMO, feedback nowadays is a waste of time. For sellers you can say whatever you like, as long as its all postive.

Thank you all for your replies, this was much as I thought but as I was emailed I assume that it was a requirement that I leave feedback.

Nope it is an automated system. I would never leave a positive for a buyer who had not paid, it would make me feel quite poorly to think I was rewarding them for being bad.

I would still leave a feedback with capital letters warning others, even though it will be positive they can still read what happened. If you don`t leave any no one will know about them.

Do that, and eBay will remove the comment leaving only the positive rating behind.

After I quite rightly left 2 sellers negative feedback, I had false positive feedback left to me twice and it was removed extremely quickly by Ebay after I reported.

How do you report someone leaving false positive feedback? I've just had someone do it to me and I've trawled the help pages but couldn't find anything

Go to help pages and put in "removing feedback" to search field.

    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/feedback-abuse-withdrawal.html

you can also reply to feedback via the help pages.

Thanks Poppy, ebay dealt with it really quickly and the seller has been NARU'd. I feel a bit guilty now though....
