Going to Alton Towers tomorrow!

We're going to Alton Towers tomorrow does anyone have any advice, Ican't afford fast passes, will it be one long queue and do they still do the refillable cups.

Yes to refillable cups - £4.99 each for those.

Can't advise on the queues I queued for Air which was 2 queues but got there as soon as it opened so it was 5 minutes max.

Pick your must do ride and go to it first. Factor in enough time to use the monorail & still be at the booths 10 mins before they open. Do the park back to front. And use single rider queues. They can cut an hour's wait to 10 mins.

BTW- try not to miss SharkBait reef- it's been brilliantly done. Same with Hex- a ride that's not a ride- but the theming is top notch.

You'll love Hex. It looks like nothing as you walk in but you will really enjoy it.
Yes the new sealife place is worth the whole trip, save it till last.

Just got back from Alton Towers, Sons used single rider queues and saved loads of time! We bought the refillable drinks cups and they were a godsend I'm sure we saved loads.

Unfortunately we didn't get there untill 11.30ish, got monorail to park entrance and the queues at the entrance were enormous! Finally got into park and got annual Merlin passes by 12.30ish. So didn't have time to do the sealife bit but going again in Oct and will do it then. Thanks everyone

If you go back and need to buy any food while you are there, show your merlin pass at the food stands and you save money (20% i think).

those refillable cups are good...we just got them at lego land as well
