I do not print my own photos and generally use Snapfish where I upload my photos to their website.

What is so frustrating is, they let you give titles to your photos i.e. dates, places but never print this info on the photo back or front would do.

Is there an on-line photo co. that does this, does anyone know

useful to know, i've used kodak and snapfish before. ( kodak i've found is far higher quality for bigger than 6x4 prints by the way )

Having looked at some of my Photobox prints, they just print the title on the back. You would have to edit each photo title to include whatever details you want. Maybe this isn't quite what you're looking for.

Certainly for quality and customer service, I won't go anywhere else.

When you say `the title` do you mean a title they (or you) give the whole collection of photos rather than a title for each photo.

Not having used Photobox I am not sure how they work, but with Snapfish you upload all the photos then they give it an album name which is the date you upload your prints (you could change the album name) and they come back with that date on the back of each one.

It lets you edit each photo caption which I painstakingly did at first, for instance `John & Mary's Wedding 26.08.06` `Suzy the cat 12.05.06`only to discover I had completely wasted my time.

I find it incredible in this age of technology there isn't a facility for this.

It's the actual photo title that they print on the back, whether it be your cameras default e.g. IMG153 or the name you've changed it to.

Photobox allow you to add a description to each photo, although I've never used this so don't know if they print it or not.

I usually amend the picture title on the PC before I upload and print any photos.
