Ikea Card PPI

Hi,
I only recently realised that the Ikea Card balance I've been paying off for the last few years includes a few pounds PPI per month. I don't recall signing up/being told/asked whether I wanted it. How would I go about finding out whether I actively agreed to it and whether I can claim it back? Has anyone else dealt specifically with Ikano Financial Services?
Many thanks,
Ippy

Hi Ippy
Have you the agreement for this?
If not write to them and ask if they can send you a copy, and enclose a £1 payment for this request, in either by postal order or cheque, they should supply the details by 12 days, post by recorded delivery.
I have not come across this actual company myself in regards of PPI, but I expect there are some who have had dealing with these.
Now in regards of reclaiming this - it seems that PPI was added without your authority, or in other words you only just realised it was added.
Write to complain if this is the case and reclaim.
Here below is the link to ppi useful information and templates, write your own reasons though.
They have 8 weeks to respond in full.

They may deny mis selling on the first letter, so if they don't resolve this then write back to them if given the opportunity to do so, they should let you know, and also in the final response if eligible they should give details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS), good luck and remember to post by recorded delivery for safer posting.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
