    Hi there Elaine

Just also replied to your last post but not to worry.;)
At least you know where you are with your own thread.

Yes write back and tell them you want your complaint reconsidered, or you will take further action on this matter.
Also let them know you do have a right to cancel your PPI as stated in FSA rules.

Keep on at them until you receive the final response, if eligible they shoul give you details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS).

    Keep us posted.
What year did you take out the loan?

If they don't resolve this then in your favour, complaint to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS), but see what their final letter states first, in case they do resolve this - this time.

Your right about lloyds as well, I have had to deal with them, however successful in the end even though it was all resolved through the FOS.

Again remember post by recorded delivery, good luck.;)

That is standard responses in regards that you could have cancelled by 30 days, so don't worry. X

    Hi Elaine.

We are here to help, keep your chin up.;)

I would write back and tell them to refer to your first letter, and you want this reconsidered, if you want to enclose a copy of the first letter you sent to them to save too much writing but do write you will take your matter further if they do not resolve this for you in your favour.

When you say you sent them £10, was this for a request for a Subject access request, (for all the information they hold on you on your account), or have I mis read.
They have 40 days to send you the SAR, and if you paid this by cheque payments, it will show in your account when they have debited the payment.

Please correct me if I have not got this bit right lol, cheers.
Or is this about another matter, sorry if i missed this in another post.

Yes do so with lloyds as well if you've a complaint about PPI with them also, good luck, ask them to do this with immediate effect, I take it, this policy is not suited to your requirements then, and it was mis sold to you?

Oh I see, arh I taken it you requested for a SAR where they should send everything to you by 40 days, as there is a charge for that also £10.

So you asked for the statements and with the payment part I am confused in how that ended up back in your account, where they should have taken this to supply your requested details???
