A balance transfer one ideally. I have £1000 to pay off my barclaycard and they put my rate upto 19.9%

So i want one i can pay off my debt without the charge.

I know virgin has a good deal (used to work for them lol) but i applied for one 6 months ago and got turned down as i changed my name address and job in the space of 3 months and they said it looked bad on me lol.

They said to leave it 6 months, so i have but i applied for a loan last month and was turned down on the basis that my credit rating is rubbish lol. I'll be looking to move my debt to a 0% card in a few months. So whats the best one do you think?

Thanks in advance for your help :D

xx

Oh because i have loads of credit, and am not on the electrol roll.

Well actually i did look at my credit rating online, and it was fair with room for no improvments, im doing everything as i should be (paying off thngs on time etc)

Then when i applied for the loan i was told by barclays my rating is derogetory... :S

So its a bit confusing. But i've cancelled my online thing as it was charging me £6 a month :( x

I think your problems may lie in not being on the Electoral Roll - I would advise you get this sorted before applying for anything else, it is pretty crucial to getting a decent line of credit.

I have found having lots of existing credit not to be much of a problem really.

I would but there's no point as im moving house in 2 months and someone told me you have to phone up and get a form to fill in etc, and i cant be bothered with it seeing as i'll have to redo it in 8 weeks time.

Anyway, i've been given credit for a few online catalouges without being on the electrol roll. But once i'll move i'll make sure to get on their pronto.

Anyway, if im on there do i have to vote? lol

    :D x

No you don't have to vote, but you do have to pay council tax ;)
