I am saving up at the moment (about £90 worth of vouchers if and when my wine bonus ones come through). You can only get brochure prices ie no further discounts - 3 nights for the price of 2 offers are valid (at least in the Bridge travel brochures - probably the same for the others). The exchange to Airmiles is not a good idea as you get less for your points. Phone the holiday people you want to book with and ask. There is a £500 minimum holiday value but if you are going to Florida, it will easily cost this.0

yeah its looking at around about 2.5k for 2 weeks
where are you using yours for? <nosy icon> :P
ps are you the same lily the pink who posts on hitched? if not then ignore me lol0 -
Hiya Rachie B
yes i went to egypt at Xmas on clubcard vouchers only catch is you pay FULL BROCHURE price no discounts but we went on a £2000+ holiday cost about £700 pound thanx to the lovely beef promo if you need proper(sober) advice brylomarha is your best bet.
we are now saving up for flights to Dubai as we have use of an apartment on the palm tree thing wont be til easter next year but we have over £200 worthof vouchers & points already best of luck with florida but in all honesty for big holidays you'll need another beef type promo
sorry for wittering on i'll get me coat0 -
"beef type" promo erm youve lost me already lol
doesnt take much i know
ive priced it up and its about 2 - 2.5 k for accom / car hire / flights etc,for 4 of us for 2 weeks

I used mine for a trip to Paris for me and the OH, brochure price was £504 and I had £105 worth of deals, so I ended up paying £84! Although I was charged brochure price I was give 4 nights for the price of 3 and an upgrade to 1st Class on Eurostar. There's no way I could of got this elsewhere for £189 and it was a really good 'deal'. I think the trick would be to get a good brochure deal - usually available when they first publish the brochure, you know, free child, 2 weeks for the price of one etc.
One tip to increase your points is to use a tescos credit card for absolutely everything - (paying off in full by direct debit each month). You can even pay bills with it (making sure there is no surcharge). You then get double your points in tescos and half a point in the pound elsewhere.
Another tip is to join every tescos online club (wine/clothes/kids etc) - they send you vouchers for double point on shopping as well as things that relate to the club - and it's free.

excellent thanks

wow fab bargain trip to Paris : )
i do most of my shopping online and often get 500 / 1000 extra points codes so it soon adds up0 -
We have been to Disney Land Paris twice almost completely free with Bridge Travel, and exchanged points for airmiles and flew to Dublin (no longer good value and Airmiles "extras" charges make it cheaper by Ryanair or Easyjet now).
We are currently saving for our next possible Disney holiday and should have almost £200 of vouchers by the end of this quarter to exchange, so we should get a 3 day break and Buffalo Bill show and Character Breakfast all free. This year I have priced Leger as the cheapest company to accept Tesco vouchers.
I have not found the vouchers very good value against longer haul holidays as there is such an availablilty of discounted prices for these holidays that it's just not worth using Tesco vouchers.0 -
i used my token deals to book a holiday with french life.these are cottages and villas etc in various parts of france.we are going in august for 1 week ...used £100 of deals to get £400 off holiday.total left to pay £300.,incuding ferry crossing and 1 week in brittany with our own pool.0

We have had two weeks in Ireland in 2003 through Cresta Ireland using our Clubcard Vouchers and two weeks at Center parcs in Holland last year paying £1800 out of a total price of £1885. Both great holidays. We are always restricted to school holidays and we wouldn't be able to afford a summer holiday if it wasn't for Clubcard!0
