In need of an architect's advice?

RIBA chartered architects are giving up their time to benefit housing charity Shelter: you can get an hour's consultation in return for a min donation of 40 quid. You need to register with the Architect in the House Scheme any time up until 1 July 09, with consultations to be agreed before 30 Nov 09 (the architect will come to your home/project place)
Shelter do a fantastic job ( they were key players in the tenancy deposit regs becoming law, along with the CAB et al) : we often suggest their services to Ts who post on here, and £40 represents a big money saving on a Chartered Arch's consultation fees if you are looking for some initial advice - there are apparently no strings attached.
See here for further info: you can also get 10% of RIBA books if booking a consultation (includes titles on solar energy, self-build, off-grid energy etc)
