It says it on a pop up, check to see if you have blocked any, it does clearly say they are offering 1 years free road tax when you sign up, but I can't see any T & C's, but you can bet it's only free when you buy a car off them

When you click on the link, you get a pop up which states free car tax for registering. When you input your details , you finally get to the terms and conditions, which states that the freebie is only against a car purchased from them.

    The pop up is misleading.

With pop-up blockers becoming more popular these days, could this be the next common scam - dodgy t&c's in a pop-up that none of us will see.
My views are irrelevant - censorship is alive & well!

In this particular case, if you've got a pop-up blocker, you don't actually see the offer. So its fair enough having the T&Cs on a pop-up.

However I would agree that an offer on a non pop-up page with no mention of additional T&Cs, and those additional T&Cs only on a pop-up would should be considered as a bit dodgy.

However, as I said, in this instance thats not the case. :)
