Not sure if this is mentioned elsewhere on this board, but I read in the paper that tv chef John Burton Race has been declared bankrupt.

So that's him, Worrall-Thompson, Tom Aiken, Paul Rankin having to have an IVA, talk of Gordon Ramsey having to renegotiate loans etc. It's a tough time in the restaurant business, though I suspect it's even tougher if you are a small business that has supplied these celebrities with a pile of food on credit.0 -
I remember there was a programme on the telly when he was setting up the Angel in Dartmouth... and things weren't going great from Day 1.
