Dissapointing FOS reply for hardship claim

I sent my application form with all my letters and got a reply saying we are dealing with your case so all was well. 2 weeks later i got this letter today with another application form partially filled in saying "please give all information or we will not deal with your case - all your documents have been returned with this letter"

They did not send me my letters back they wanted exact date of when this complaint occured (i don't know exact dates, Lloyds have been charging me ongoing for years multiple times  ) and to fill the rest of the form in i am going to need my letters back what i sent them!

They have not been exact in asking for what i need to fill in, all my details were already given last time and i sent them original letters from the bank not copies, i hope they have not 'lost' them.

I am giving it 1 more try and sent the filled in form back to them today with as much detail as i can. i don't know exact dates they wanted i am not a calendar  hope ethis gets sorted out. i expected better from the FOS.
Owed out = lots.

You need to keep copies of all documents you send the bank. If I send the bank documents I take or I scan copies to my computer so that there is a clear timeline for when I need to clarify or to complain.

Maybe so, i did not think i would be going to the FOS when i claimed my bank charges back so i did not keep them.

The FOS still did not tell me exactly what info they needed they were very vague, now they have my original copies and not me.

Always assume you will take a bank to County Court which requires evidence. I know you never think it will, but at least now you know for any future complaints you have against any company. Keep the paperwork ;)
