Hi stressed mother of one,
Without seeing them it's hard to know but I would grill them for 6-8 minutes on each side until the juices run clear. You could serve them in burger buns with salad, coleslaw and a baked potato or potato wedges. How many per person will depend on the person and their appetite. I would only eat one but my 15 year old son would eat three.

Sounds like you have got yourself some Lorne sausage, just treat them as 'burgers' and as Pink says they can be served in a bun or as part of a mixed grill, they go well with eggs, chips & beans for the kids.0

Two per person is a good standard. I'd grill them for about 15 mins until they're brown all over, turning them once the top is brown. You could have sausage and mash with onion gravy
yum!

I'd chop 'em up and make a chilli or stew, lots of tomato puree and rice on the side. that's what I do with almost anything! mmm.0

Lorne sausage is not sausage shaped. It is a Scottish speciality. Pic here0
