As we got that beat going the graph doesnt mean a lot until you look at house prices graphs since 1970. Anyone care to revise their statements?

    Thanks.

As a tangent, what caused London prices to depart from the average UK price? Looking at that graph it would seem that they were pretty similar in 1977... how come London property became substantially more expensive than the average UK price by the late 1980s?!

I appreciate it has nowt to do with the thread, I'm just curious!

Problem with these graphs is they do not factor in ultra low interest rates.

I know lots of people now looking to move home as thier current PORTABLE mortgage tracker rate is incredibly low.

Yawn - yes they realise the rates will go up later.

PS - I've noticed a lot of very childish bullying aimed at Dervish. Pretty pathetic guys.

London wasn't so much more economically productive than the rest of the UK till the 80's.
