Dear all,

I applied for my first credit card with virgin, they said no to be because of my income, will this impact my credit score, will it get wiped after 12 months.

Also im confused with the billing cycle with Capital one.

I changed my payment date to the 4th of every month, because i get paid on the 25th of every month. Do you think this is a good tactic.

My payment is due on the 4th of the month, however my statement is printed on the 8th a month before hand.

I still dont understand, can someone explain this, do i get charged in arrears.

Capital One explained also, i wont have a statement printed because i already cleared the balance.

Also will i likely to get a credit limit increase if i make my payments on time i believe its the 4th statement.

Also advice would be to pay it off in a full so that i dont get charged interest,

Also how does the minummum payment facility work, i presume you still stumped with interest?

Also on my application i gave my income being around £2k but since my hrs have been cut its less will this impact this, do i need to inform them accordingly?.

Look forward to hearing from you all,

Regards,

ColdAsIce

Re the virgin application, all that will show is one search, which in the grand scheme of things should not affect your credit score. However if you suddenly go on an applying spree, more searches will go against you.
