Kwik fit exhaust - can't find warranty

Hi all, I had a new exhaust fitted in Mar 08 - would have come with a 3 year warranty. I am now told they need to fit a new back box and have ordered one. They also said I need to provide the warranty but I have searched and cannot find it. They showed me receipt on their system so have proof themselves. Will they not honour it - anyone had any experience please.

I thought these guys usually backed down when you say "it was only replaced by you less than a year ago" as they start thinking oh crap, they know we're trying to screw em over.

Yes - Can prob find credit card statement..have to go back to Kwik Fit to get repaired free

Credit Card statement should be accepted as proof of purchase, if they can see it on their system why are they bothering to ask you for proof.

He said the warranty had an extra number quoted on that is not on their system - will take credit card statement and see how I get on - Thanks

Agreed, It seems to be the usual Kwik-Fit get out clause.
