Saving for child relative abroad

I would like to start saving reguarly for my brother's daughter, who will be born in July. So would her grandparents. We live in the UK, but my brother and his family live in Hong Kong, so my niece will not be a UK resident. Anyone have an idea what is the simplest, most tax-efficient and profitable way to save for her?
