    Evening all.
Just caught up with everything going on.

Congrats to Diva, another mse'r going to the festival.:j
And Tulip, a lovely, generous thing for you to give Diva the tickets.

As for me, I've been shopping today, and the BBQ quest is over.
I now have a lovely BBQ put together by myself, stood in the living room:rotfl:
Am hoping for a sunny day on Saturday to try it out.

And have also bought the most gorgeous pair of shoes today.
Am going to a wedding in August, and they will be perfect. All I need now is the rest of the outfit:rotfl:
The shoes, I must have tried on about 5 times, thought that I couldn't spend £45 on a pair of shoes, tried them on again, and just fell in love with them.
Then thought, what the hell, I work hard enough, if I can't treat myself.
So I am now the proud owner of these...

I just love the colour, the style, basically the whole shoe and for heels, that I don't wear that often, they are surprisingly comfy.
I mean you wouldn't want to walk too far in them, but they must be the most comfy heels I've ever worn.
I've been strutting around the house with them on:rolleyes:
Already have a dress that they go with very well, but really should get a new one for the wedding!

I have been a member of MSE for over 2 years These people that join and follow comping sites to win big are wasting their time if they think winning is easy. I have a hit (win) rate of more than one in 1000 competitions entered. that is 1 in 1000 to win a glove puppet, DVD, lipstick, mascara, TV, You have to be the 1 in a million to get the bigee win.

That's my estimate as well, about 1 in 1000 for just bits and bobs. I've had 2 big prizes in the last year, laptop+ipod and PS3 which will be in about 120,000 comps:eek:

OMG, wish I hadn't worked that out just now:rotfl:

Oh,all them figures are mighty depressing!!!!!!

I will just pretend I didn't see them and keep my ignorance, it's so much more fun that way!

And you cannot deny that you want to win big! Everyone enters in hope that they will win a biggy whether we are happy with the small ones too. I love my small prizes, the ones I win for the OH or kids are the most in value to me tbh. The ballooppa is the best thing we have ever owned, the whole family loves it, I have been playing with it every day :rotfl:

    :D:D:D

I've just joined mse fb too! (Not my real pic though!) :D

    Well i'm offically 39 now. :(

Ginger..them shoes are really lovely, wish I could get away with heels, but I can't walk in em!

Reading about the comping for cash, I don't believe that people can actually earn a living from it unless they are damn lucky with the cash comps every week. I put lots of hours in on here too, mainly when kids in bed/school and I enter 100's of comps too...but mine is a hobby.

    My name's wingobins...and i'm a compaholic. :D
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

I dont believe that people can live off comps, I have won an incredible amount since starting, I am very lucky but could never rely on it, no way.

I too am doing it as a hobby, one which takes up all my spare time, yet I love it, LOVE IT!!

    My name's sweetiepie82 and I too am a compaholic ;)
