I don't think so. The BOE will not want to be seen as the muppets that poured billions into the economy in QE, only to see the tentative recovery then thrashed out of existence.

Rates will rise slowly and not too soon. People will be able to absorb the slow modest rise as thier economic situation improves.

I am sure you used to be a raving bear icon7.gif

I've noticed all the bears being a bit irritable lately, hardly surprising given all the news that's around at the moment.

It's not that. It's that a certain select group of bullish posters seem to be behaving like absolute idiots.

All I have seen today is the same people dragging threads up, highlighting what someone said a year ago, and trying to make a fool out of them. YOU have just done the exact same thing on another thread in a desperate attempt to try and demean a poster. Not that you were in the debate beforehand, not that you wanted to join in, you just wanted to drag something up, non-relevant from the past to have a pop.

Then all the chums come in with rolling heads moving from one side of the screen to the next.

The frankly pathetically immature nature really starts to grate.

i've thought that a certain group of bearish posters were total idiots too.
coincidence that you don't see both sides Graham?
    no didn't think so.

just like the economy and everything else you see what you want to see.

highlighting that post was perfectly ok - the poster (who's posts i do like as they're normally balanced) can't say one thing one week then say it's not ok the next. they may not have realised but they should be more careful what they post. it's called double standards. if you think they're ok - don't criticise a poster

Oh come on, if I have to put up with morons like Downey typing timber in capital letters everywhere then I'm quite entitled to make someone look like an ar5e.

If you don't like a joke, don't be one.

You don't. You could just look past it. But you never do.

And feel free to say I don't either. You'll find loads of baiting from stevie and chucky today, which I have simply ignored on about 3 threads.

There was something the other day stevie said about me having loads of mirrors etc, ignored. Though chucky and stevie had a fun time slagging :)

You say one thing which might go against them, and it's back to the insults. As seen with the mirrors comment etc.

What I don't get though, is if it's downey that annoys you, why you have to pop at others?

sorry but you should start to criticise the idiots that don't add anything but personal attacks if you want to make this point sound credible and consistent.
