What's put you off? I think I'd rather be at a brick uni but it's getting in and picking the right course.

What OU course are you doing PAP ?

What podcasts ? They're ones from this site which Sammy recommended, current subject is ACCA Paper F8 Audit & Assurance (yawn, yawn)

I am doing the 'you and your money' course. It nothing really I dont know from here but I was going to move up the course's. Unsure now :)

Ahhh these are Radio 1 I think. I just didnt get on with them. Unsure why tbh, but I prefer just normal song downloads. Ohhh whats ACCA, is it accounting and stuff?

I dont know Gem, but I find the whole reading loads a bit boring, I dont learn from reading naturally so thats hard. Plus they dont word the questions very well do they? I am sure as I move on it may get better, I am enjoying the dvd tutorial though :D

I loathe their way of talking, it's like this latest workbook - if I didn't know it already, I'd never have understood it from their way of explaining things. I don't read it, I have a talking computer programme that reads it to me - very helpful. Don't really need the programme but it's nice to have :)

It's the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants PAP - which sounds very impressive & I may well be able to have those letters after my name, if I pull my finger out & get on with it - trouble is I keep stopping & starting - this'll be the first exam I've done since 2006

Just going to have to have tea - be back soon :D

Pap - this is a link to a more interesting bit of the site.

http://www.opentuition.com/afna/index.php its a free online course in accounting for non accounting people. I know that you want to go in that direction eventually and this is a good introduction.
