BB, I was going to throw it in my locked saver but its due to mature soon anyways so it would only make £'s if not less because I havent monitered the interest on itCome to think of it I do remember Ia getting simmaler and she did the same course. Seems like its ok then?
Bookie, Thanks :A See we can all have a treat on our journeys
Inky, Thanks, what podcasts do you listen to? My brother set up some weird ones for me back in the day but I can never fathom how to work them :rotfl:
Toto, That is trueI know the lady couldnt understand why I wanted to give it back :rotfl: Did you get your car fixed btw? I forgot to subscribe to the thread
So did I
It's fixed, but I'm not sure what they did. Hubby took it in and spent the whole morning there. They gave him 2 choices, either do something which meant taking the whole engine to bits which would cost about £1500 or the other option was to disable something or other which would cost £60. The silly sod even phoned me to ask me what to do :rotfl:
Obviously we did the £60 thing and as far as I can tell nothing is different apart from the fact the key now comes out of the hole without the battery being removed. Job done.:A

It looks like I'm doing the RFL in Bath on 7th June! Mini-meet, anyone?
I will, be walking it, I can assure you, with only two weeks to prepare (hence the  ). I'll add my new JustGiving page to my profile in a minute. My grandma's already sponsored me £10 so I'm doing well so far.

Just means you have him well trained. Remember: other OH's withdraw £2.50 and incurr £50 in bank charges."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

It's definitely ok pap - I can't quite remember the exact ins and outs of Sar's money from the OU, but I remember it was something to do with her getting a laptop with it.
Toto - we'll see. I've read back my application form and thought - well, it's all true - the stuff I've written..........but I have to admit it's bloody well written. Interestingly though, I wonder if a small thing I added (about being asked to research and then present a paper on childcare provision for adults wanting to return to education) helped as I've been researching what the department does and it's 0-19 year old advice and guidance on access to childcare/after school clubs/childminding/becoming a childminder - basically advice for families whenever they need it. If so, then I owe it to my manager as she was going to have to write the paper and asked if I fancied having a go!"Stay Wonky":D
