Hello,
I am about to rent my flat out. What sort of insurance would I need?
I understand the service charge I pay to my maintanence company covers buildings insurance,ie insures the outside of the building, but what sort of insurance would I need for the inside of the flat?
I will be renting out the property as unfurnished.
Many thanks in advance for your advice.

You need special landlord insurance. Read this thread - a story of a landlord and a tenant and a fire:
