Urgent help - tenant check queries

Hello,
I have found a flat that I will be moving in with a good friend in 2.5 weeks. It's absolutely perfect, and we've both fallen in love with it.
We have paid the £200 holding deposit, and now the landlord is asking for the following;
1) Copies of the last 3 month pay slips
2) A reference letter from your employers
3) Reference from your current landlord
4) A credit check with credit rating.
Now my friend is fine with all of the above - she has a completely clean record and a good job.
I, on the other hand am a mess. Point by point;
1 - I was made redundant in November. I began working again in March - I can provide my invoices, and 3 weeks of payslips from my other new part time job (i do two jobs part time)
2 - Have a reference letter from one job (the main one, stating I can afford the rent)
3 - I dont actually have a current landlord, im living with my other half. We are in a dispute with the last landlord - not something I want to bring up. I can get a reference from one before that.
4 - He is asking us to provide him with our credit report - which would obviously have an awful lot more information on it than if he did it himself. I cant access my report because i don't have a bank card of any kind at the moment. I really dont want him to do a check as i have no idea what is on there, and what would be accurate. I've done a basic credit score check and it came out as 495.
Now my question is - Is there anything further I can do? Perhaps character references / past employer references? Anything at all to relay any fears he may have.
I don't know anyone that is a homeowner that can act a guarantor, and I really cant afford any rent in advance on top of what im already paying.
I have to get this flat, otherwise im in a real mess.
Please, any help much appreciated.

Sorry to hear your story & bad luck you've experienced..
Go see the landlord/agent face2face soon and talk things through & explain your situation.
The alternative is you keep putting off giving him what he is asking for and eventually he decides himself...
Do you have anyone else who could be a guarantor or other references and past employers??
If you are straight & up-front with Landlord he might be sympathetic: It probably depends on how much demand there is for the type of property you are after - sadly if he can find a load of other tenants who look better on paper he may well decide to go that way...
Good luck!
