Hope you all don't mind me resurecting this thread.... did anyone buy the Lidl breadmaker??
I bought one on Monday as my old breadmaker died and I couldn't afford the panasonic one... Made one loaf but it was very solid and dense.......
Could anyone who uses this breadmaker tell me what recipe they use please??0 -
I didnt check the date this thread was started, and was starting to get excited at the thought of buying a bread maker cheap from Lidl :rotfl: until I realised the offer started in march.
Yategirl, where did you buy yours and how much did you pay? I wouldnt mind trying this if its still at the same price, and you get some positive replies.

The breadmakers were on offer from Monday gone (May 8th?) - £19.99 - same as the one mentioned in this leaflet.
It looks great but from previous experience.. I know it will take me a while to find the perfect recipe for this breadmaker and then I will be able to experiment!0 -
Cheap bread makers are on sale at Superdrug. I paid £15 for mine - reduced from £40 but haven't used it yet.0

anyone have a good recipe for the lidl (bifnett) breadmaker.... please?????0 -
I bought one on Monday but am having a bit of trouble getting the loaf out of the pan once its cooked. I'm following the instructions in the booklet but mine certainly doesn't slide out like it says it should, it gets stuck to the sides and bottom and by the time I've levered it out it looks a right mess. Any ideas?0

hello
how are people getting on with the Lidl breadmaker? I saw them in my local store but wasn't sure whether to get one or not. By the sounds of it people are having trouble getting the mix right?
Thanks!0 -

I've had my Lidl breadmaker for a couple of weeks now. My favourite recipe if the express white loaf. Takes only 1hr 20minutes to bake. The recipe booklet says something daft like 4tsp of salt. I use only 2tsp. I also make it with half milk and half water and I use 1 part wholemeal bread flour to 2 parts white flour. I also usually throw in a handful of sunflower seeds and some sesame seeds.
Ok I know it's nothing like the original recipe, but I use the same quantities"A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0
