I called Jessops in Newcastle, the telephone rang continuously for 5 minutes before I hung up. This was just after lunchtime. I haven't been in Jessops for ages, but usually I look in there to see what's available and/or pick up their catalogue and then shop for it elsewhere.

Extras like memory cards and cases are overpriced there too.
