:jFinally its happened picked the keys up from the EA today had a quick look arund the house that we have bought and it feels much bigger. So much space after our little bungalow we have been renting. Kids were running around the garden and the weather has been good.
Just waned to say a big, big thankyou to all the help advice over the last few months, with putting the offer in and several other silly questions. I read the oher thread about people selling and i wish you all good luck.
A slight tarnish to what should have been a great day, i had a big car accident this morning:mad: and i'm not sure of the outcome of that, the other driver may well say i was at fault as i dont have any proof so spent 2 hours at the police station sorting out paperwork.
Good luck to everyone thats on the way to completing or at any stage of the house buying /selling process.

Congrats stolt, we completed also today (sooner than expected!) and we've just come back from picking the keys up and having a mooch about, like you, kids loved the garden, we're not actually moving in until tomorrow though

I also want to second the thanks to everyone on here, this place has been a lifesaver in recent months and I don't know what I would have done without you all (I certainly would have made a few expensive mistakes, thats for sure!):o0 -
Congratulations, wishing you every happiness in your new home :beer:Pawpurrs x

isnt it a lovely feeling, i suppose for us as we had been rented (and a small bungalow for 3 kids and 2 adults) it feels like freedom. good luck on the move yourself. I have the plasterer coming round tomorrow to price up getting rid of the artex in every room, and just in case i didnt have enough they have artex the garage celing aswell

There's nothing wrong with artex. I'd rather have the cash in my bank.

Here's hoping the good times begin now0 -
Thanks for all the replies, yes it has been a journey, weird I feel i know some of the people on that have posted, i certainly remmeber the comments that you all made on my threads at the time.
Yes it was great to see my three girls running like mad in the garden in the sun this afternoon was really good to see. Been a bad couple of years what with my youngest daughter being diagnoised with arthritis/stills disease but I'm hoping with the larger house and more space for the girls she might not get so stressed and can have a pretty good life.
i'm not going anywhere off these forums, everyone has been so helpful to me and provided rock solid advice but i'll probably spend more time on the DIY forum now.
Artex...... me personally i'd probably leave it, well i did on our previous house (i just used a scraper to get the points off so it looked flatter) and she was never really that happy with it so I did promise i'd pay this time and its our final house until the girls grow up.
If it wasnt for the car accident this morning i'd probably be much more excited... Its amazing how much bigger it looked and the garden had a really good feeling to it.Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0
