:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I'm loving your enthusiasm.
My challenge money is sort of already spoken for with different bits and bobs, it's broken into 3 different pots which I need for various things.
Got some niggly debts I want to pay off with it and can't justify booking a holiday when we've got so much stuff to clear :mad:
I'm always open to new ideas at making extra cash though! I've exausted most options...! :rotfl:
Feel right encouraged now Jesa, you've spurred me on to hunt for some ebay-able stuff
(and off she runs to place some free ads in local paper)

Just saved myself £2 (not counting it) on Ebay - OH wanted a certain book for holiday and I found someone selling it who lives in my town. I won the bidding and am meeting her in 15 mins at the top of my road:) very mseNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

Just remembered I used a 75p coupon on my shopping today so I have saved something! I'll add the cash to my pot.
Also had a letter from consumerpulse on Saturday inviting me to sign up so I've done that. Well done on the book Jesarose! I love it when I manage things like that.
We got married last year - a year ago yesterday - and we were so careful withthe gift list asking for money. We tried to make it very very clear that we did not expect presents, and had a list with things that literally started from a couple of £s but would make us happy!ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0 -
Good to read the enthusiasm on this thread. I may not post much, but I do read this thread when I can.
I'm doing OK this month, but just had an email from a buyer from Amazon strongly stating their discontent that the book they bought from me has a different cover than the one on Amazon.
I'm shocked at the tone of the email. Does it really matter that much. I'm from the 'Don't judge a book by its cover' school
I've given a full refund because I don't know what else to do - but now they have a book for nothing and I've lost out on the cost of the book and the postage - I'm down about £10. Can anyone suggest how I should deal with this situation... in case it happens again?
Still, another lesson learned about selling online. Be pedantically accurate about everything you sellIt's not put me off, will just try not to get caught again.

hiphouse I always try to make sure anything like a different cover is stated very clearly in my item description. Then if the is any come back I'll send a copy of the item description in response. Sadly though it is one of hte pitfalls of selling and I'd probably end up giving a full refund to the customer. Have a look on the Amazon selling board for more advice.Deleted_User wrote: »Good to read the enthusiasm on this thread. I may not post much, but I do read this thread when I can.

Thanks RuthieJane for your response. Just wanted to be sure that giving a full refund was the right thing to do. I'm now very careful in my descriptions... lesson learned!0
