I have to make an insurance claim

I shall keep this as simple as possible
Last night we had a massive loss of water form underneath our bath. This came through my kitchen ceiling and through my boiler onto my hall carpet and flooding my kitchen
We called our emergeny insurers number as we have home emergency cover
They promised someone out asap but in reality nobody came dispite several phonecalls
My partner stayed up all night due to the water still being running and we were scared on a fault with the bolier etc
This morning we had a second gush come through so bad it peeled the wallpaper off our walls. My partner remained off work as we couldnt leave the house in this condition litrally we couldnt dry the floor in the kitchen quick enough
We have building and contents with different companies
I have phoned the buildings regarding the wallpaper who said someone should be in touch soon. The problem being that the kitchen is decoated with the same paint as the hall and stairs and if they do decoate it its all going to look odd. The hall carpet again goes with the colour scheme and the contents company are looking and replacing this for us.
I admit to being quite house proud but I know this paint is no longer for sale so I cannot just ask them tp paint it all the same colour
All of the paintwork, skirtingboards etc is this colour
Would I be able to request that the whole area is redecorated by the buildings company?
I know that may sound harch but the house really is going to now look odd.
The colour really does go all the way through the house.
I cannot honeslty believe that the home emergency people left us in that situation. We were advised ot turn off the water hence from 6.30pm last night till 3 pm today I had no water and last night had to ask a neighbour for some to make my sons bottle who is special needs
Thanks for any advice. The other damaged items we have listed to our contents insurers

Would it be possible for them to colour match the paint? I've taken a sample in to my local paint shop and we got a very close match. You might need to clean the rest of the walls with sugar soap to bring them up to the same level of "freshness" though.0

Your Insurers are only duty bound to repair / replace the damaged areas so will not redecorate the rooms that are not damaged. Occassionally you can get an Insurer to make a contribution towards it is unlikely.
I agree with Matt you could get a colour match done which should be fairly close0 -
brillaint thak I was not aware of that

Don't use the builder the Insurer or Loss Adjuster recommends, ask your friends etc to recommend a good local builder and get a quote from them. They should be able to advise you whats possible to achieve with the decorating and whats not.
Your Insurers will ask for two quotes from seperate companies and they will almost certainly go with the cheapest quote.
For future reference you are normally allowed under a home insurance policy to carry out emergency repairs eg repairs that prevent further damage to the property0
