As a former member of CLC , I think you have more chance of winning lottery than selling CLC points. I stopped paying maintenance fees and they cancelled my membership. Have had no comeback from them.
The big problem is the money that you payed, or are paying through finance. It works out as a dear free breakfast !!!!
If you are still paying the finance, stop paying that. Send finance company (probably GE?) and CLC a letter telling them that the product sold did not come up to expectations. ie could not get destinations or dates that you wanted, you were told by rep that you could sell your points etc. This comes under misselling and you can have them for "Gross Misrepresentation" This means that CLC misrepresentated the benefits of membership. This is covered by the Consumer Credit Act 1974 s75.
Have a think about it, I know it can be a big decision to make.
If you go onto the Timeshare Consumers Association website you will find more details there, and there is a contact number, were you can talk to someone who knows what they are on about.
Keep us posted. Cheers.0 -

There's a forum for club la costa members where there are details of how to sell or return your points - but I wouldn't expect to receive much. You can offer them for sale to other members through this site (clcmembers.co.uk), put them up for sale on ebay, try one of the more established re-sellers, or return them to Club la costa. If you return them to CLC you will get no money back, but will avoid having to pay any more maintenance.
Club La Costa do not offer a resale service.
How many points have you got?Not even wrong0 -
http://clcmembers.co.uk/forum/index.php is the (independant) forum for CLC members. Its a fiver to join but you can sell your points there. The going rate is £1 (or less) per point (+ 50p per point to CLC transfer fee, up to max 1300 Euro) This in many cases is less than 10% of CLC retail price.
Alternatively you could try selling through http://www.timeshare-hypermarket.com or Ebay http://shop.ebay.co.uk/items/?_nkw=club+la+costa+points&_sacat=0&_trksid=p3286.m270.l1311&_odkw=Club+La+Costa&_osacat=00
