PPI companies

I was wondering if anyone can advise me on reclaiming PPI on a loan? I received a telephone call from a company 'all mortgages and loans ltd' recently to discuss mis-selling of PPI. After sending them loan agreements etc they have written back stating that there is a potential claim for £2,000, however they are asking for a payment of £295 upfront and then 25% of the claim value if settled. Is it normal to be asked to pay money prior to them commencing with the claim? The letter they sent states 'money back guarantee' but I am a little wary. Has anyone any experience of this company? Also, would I be better off pursuing the matter myself? Thanks in anticiapation!

The lower the likelihood of success and/or the more long drawn out the process they more likely you are going to be asked to pay up front.

Same answer applies to anything you do DIY. Some people can DIY and do a good job of it. Some make a pigs ear and some know they cant DIY so get someone to do it for them.

    Hi there

Personally I would not go with any that are asking you to pay these charges upfront, and you can also reclaim for free by using this site and help from many here.
Be careful of these charging companies....

    Good luck.
