£100 BA discount on long haul World Traveller

Just got this email from BA executive club

"Your promotional code to activate this voucher is BAUK-ESCAPE"

"It is worth £100 off per person on World Traveller at ba.com between 01 July to 31 August 2009. But please remember that your voucher is only valid for making a booking until 31 May 2009."

Some small print:
"In order to take part in this promotion, Eligible Participants must log in and make a booking between 28 May 2009 and 31 May 2009 at ba.com and enter the promotion code BAUK-ESCAPE in the marked box on the Price Quote page of the booking process. Promotion Code entitles Eligible Participants to a £100 per person discount on all World Traveller (economy) flights within longhaul flights, where the ticket price per person is £350 or over. Travel must take place between 01 July 2009 and 31 August 2009. Discounts cannot be used retrospectively. This promotion applies to new bookings only"

This looks targeted - can you clarify who are 'Eligible Participants'?

Sorry, BAUK-ESCAPE is only applicable to some logged in customers. We regret that we don't recognise you as eligible

I got the email too and am not an exec member.

If you register for offers with BA then you are given log in info. I am assuming since i haven't tried it, that this is what they mean by log in.

Nor me, just registered with them a while back to get 5% off discount, which I don't know if they still do, but I got the £100 off e-mail yesterday.

I am registered but didn't receive the email. Looks like it is targeted to those that have received the email.

(You can tell I'm bored, I don't need to book any flights for the summer ... I'm going to California!)
