Commission on Empire Stores

I have had an empire catologe for years and easytiger is right you have to pay £10 min a month to get the commission. If you ask for a cheque you get 10%, if you have it in good its 12.5%.
I used to knock it off my account in goods I had bought at 12.5% but they have stopped that now. You have to tell them when placing an order that you want to use your commission to get the 12.5%0 -

Go to the Empire site and at the top where you log in there is a My Account. If you havent used it before you will need to register with your account number and choose a password. Once you can get into your account look on the left hand side for options ie make a payment, claim commission etc. If you buy from EMpire anyway I cant see the point of paying by debit card, you might aswell have the free credit and get the commission back. plus they tend to send you quite a few free gift offers. The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
I've had a look on My Account and this is what is on the left side on my account

The main reason I use a credit card to pay instead of having an account is that I do both - I use the card with a code and then use the code and put the item on my account - that way I feel more confident ordering - don't suppose it makes any difference but it makes me feel better lolAll credit cards paid off.

Ive been a customer with empire stores for 3 years and it wasn't until my mum told me that i realised i should be getting commission i couldn't see any mention of it on the site so i phoned them up and they explained that after you pay your first £100 you earn 12.5% commission on all goods if you use it to buy things from the catalogue or 10% if you take it in cash or use it to pay off the account, anyways she checked up on it for me and i had over £150 in commission since then i've allways been able to check up on it online so if in doubt phone and ask.

well on both my grattan and freemans account i have held for only about 3 years, say comission on the website, i enquired and they reckon i cannot claim as they stopped doing it like a month before i joined - i find this strange.
Also notice about comission on my empire, then they come out with this award thing, i have a sneaking suspicion that im not getting my comission for this too.
well i paid up freemand and grattan and wont be bothering buying again, unless i get some good codes come through that will cost me next to nothing

I agree its not worth buying from catalogues if youre not getting commission unless you get a good gift but I've been with Empire for 15 years and I still get commission on everyting I payThe curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0
