wow thanks my costings are £1.50 for the cupcakes and sock roses as Im making half again on them and with being a fair I want to keep prices reasonable, im not out for making much profit long as I get back what I have paid out and if sell for £1.50 i make around 70p each rose, socks work out 55p each , cupcake case 16p each and cellophane I have been using what I had left over from wrapping my nappy cakes , I always end up with some left over at the top lol, so saves me wasting it, same with ribbon as I always have some curling ribbon left from the pull bows as ribbon is too long
I have not used any flower tape as found no need to, I use the rose heads for my pamper cakes so the stems I would normally have thrown away until now get a bunch from poundland , the way the stem is it doesnt show and the sock fits into it so Ive just secured with bit of double sided tape which will peel off the socks as tried it.
just looking for something to put on top of my flannel swiss rolls now lol
thanks again xx

Hsl500, Lovely sock roses! The socks with the fluted edges look especially nice!
Just a thought! about the "extra" pull bow ribbon. I always cut the strings in half when I have pulled up the bow. Tie these 2 ends together and tie round top of cake before you tie on the main bow. You then end up with 4 strings of curls and no waste.0 -
