thank you for the comments ladies. I was just wondering for those of you who have a website, how long has it been running and how often have you had orders thorugh your website?
I know it is early days for me yet still.

I want to do a website but don't really know what to do, I don't mean the actual website bit but I don't have just a few designs, a lot of my cakes are all different isntead of the same. I don't know whether to try and standardise things (which would be easier said than done if places didnt stop selling things!!). Does anyone have a site and sell lots of different ones?

i make different ones havent put them all up on the web site yet but i just stick to plain blackets and write on the product that the items i use my vary from time to time and i would let the customer know if any big changes are made.

lovely sites :) For those of you who do the nappy changing belts, do you make your own belts? I can't sew but would love to do them!
    Hi Vikki,
I sew my own toolbelts, but I've seen that many people are using the blue toolbelts sold in 'Poundland'.

    Hi Ladies

All of your cakes are absolutely gorgeous, you're all so clever.

If any of you would like a website done, then please just give me a shout, as I can do one for you for around £50 complete.

I just have a stash of stuff that I keep and use on any website orders and then just use different stuff for craft fairs etc which are more one offs although the majority of website orders I have had have been bespoke ones, just a couple who wanted exactly the same.

This is really off topic but does anyone know of any household product that will get "sticky stuff" off plastic. I put some double sided tape on babies plastic bottles and now can't get the residue off.

Will teach me not to use it again!
Hi Moonpenny - sorry a bit behind the times but I swear by "goo gone" from Kleeneze (may be available elsewhere but that's where I got it from) for getting rid of price ticket glue and other residue - it's a liquid in a plastic bottle and it's fantastic and lasts forever -I have only brought one small bottle and it's still half full!
