Hi, been lurking about on here for a while and taking in all your gorgeous cakes. Was just wondering for those that use the florist ribbon, how you keep it in place once its on the cake, glue?

  • Floist ribbon can be glued or tapped, i find ribbon a pain though!

Where do people get their muslins from? I find a lot are too dark/bright as i like baby blue and baby pink. I've been using asdas ones but you get 3 in a pack, one patterened (lovely), a pale on (perfect) and a bight one left over. There must be somewhere that sells them fo less than £1.25 each. I dont have a b&m/home bargains

I just use a safety pin to hold the blanket together at the back of the cake.

The only place I've seen coloured muslins is in B&M. There's are £1.99 for three. I don't have one locally so stock up when I go to one.
  • hi girls I was busy lately as I am going to some workshops from Go For It Programe and I love it lol

To answer some questions: I use safety pin or baby pin for blankets or towels ang tape for ribbons.

I've made today my first bouquet but not sure if it's ok? I haven't seen any live just photos so what you think?
