That's an extraordinary proposition, including food etc. It's in Mill Hill, which is one of my favourite areas of suburban N London. Lots of greenery. The downside is that it's rather on the outskirts of London, so commuting will be expensive. If it's where I think it is, it's a few minutes from a pretty fast BR train to central London. Not sure where the nearest station would be for Primrose Hill, though.
Could you live with a landlord that does not punctuate, though? Decide for yourself:
"Opposite park one road from broadway and from station 4 stops to kings cross or london bridge easy route to luton, farringdon, london bridge, camden ll3 bus route to oxford street near gym and olympic pool your room fully fitted with compartments for everything single bed overlooking park big tall boy wardrobe masses of storage with desk book case dvd storage on the wall overlooking park tv in room with 5 bathrooms so no queuing space for everything AND massive living area downstairs 4 cumfy sofas couched around sky all the channels large landscaped garden kitchen with washing machine tumble dryer dishwasher daily cleaner all linen and fluffy towels provided sharing with young professionals (one who has been here 6 years) separate land line for incoming use all food included from 5 fridge freezers so even tesco could become a thing of the past one week deposit pay weekly no hidden extras move in today. Easy relaxed and safe with no hassles coz once rent is paid there are absolutely no extras or surprises imagine coming home and nto having to worry about going shopping running out even washing powder and loo rolls provided"No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
My son found a great room in rent in Chalk
farm and pays approx £500 a month including tax and may be a bit more for gas/electrics in winter. He should be able to get something decent for £600 including bills. The area he lives is great and as he works in Islington he walks to work. Gumtree is a good start but the good room does get snapped quickly. He will need to spend a few days in London for viewings.0 -
