Virgin Media higher 0844 charges

I have read about these higher charges on MSE.
I use the 0844200 number.This is no longer charged at 0.5p per minute plus a call connection of around 8p.
You are actually paying nearly 3p per minute and nearly 9p connection from 1/6/09.
These rates have risen 600%:mad:
Might be time to switch provider
Before VM was Telewest.They incorrectly charged me 50p per minute instead of 0.5p as they had inputted the data
wrong.I had to take that complaint all the way to their Head Office
