Illict Legal Help Please

Hi All
Just looking for some advice.
I took out an agreement with Illict Legal in 2007 to reclaim bank charges....i know its easy to do yourself, but that was a decision i made at the time.
I have recently learned that this company have gone into liquidation and am now unsure were i stand. I have emailed someone whos link i found, asking for my file to be returned, only for the email to be returned as unknown address.
I was due to reclaim nearly £4,000 from abbey and am now concerned that all bank statements which illict legal received are lost forever and i now have no way of reclaiming.
Any help appreciated

Hmmm, ok, they cannot do claims management as they are not authorised and they cannot deal with your claim as they are in liquidation. I'm gonna ask someone and get them to come back to you on this thread.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

    Hi Again

I have spoken to someone at a government office who has given me the details of the person who handled the liquidation of the company, to see if there is anyway of getting my files back. However as the company went bust last year, i don't really see me having much luck

My question now is do i contact Abbey to ask about the claim now and ask that it be handled through me rather than said bust company.
Also does anyone out there think that eventually the reclaiming of bank charges will be allowed again

    Thanks
    Susan
