Can anyone recommend a website that does cheap but good quality business cards. Any suggestions as to paper weight and how much I should be paying for 100-500 would also be helpful.
Thanks

Can't suggest any Internet printers as I use a local one to me, but the things I think are important are
Weight 350gsm - 400gsm Card
Size approx 85 x 55 is fairly standard; if it’s two big it goes in the bin and not in my file
Design - make sure it is clear what you do for a business - use the back as an advertisement or to give more detail. - It’s amazing how many business cards you can be given which give you no idea what the person does for a living. Networking events are the worst as you may only speak to that person for a short length of time
Make it look professional. Again what you give to people says a lot about your business.
We pay between 30-50 pounds for up to 500 double sided via a very good high quality local printer. ours is https://www.absolutedigitalprint.com
It’s always cheaper per card to buy more so if you think you need 500 order a 1000, as it will only be slightly more expensive and a lot cheaper than ordering 500 now and 500 in six months

Hi
I have used a number of printing companies in the past, some are good some are terrible. Vistaprint are ok for cheap business cards but the standard ones come with their details printed on the back and take upto 28 days for delivery. I use http://www.volume-printing.co.uk . You can get as little as 100 business cards for £24.30 including delivery, turanround within 3 days I have found. The cards are printed on a thick 400gsm card and you can have them laminated for a few quid extra. I have ordered a number of things for my business and I can say the service and quality has been fantastic as well as very good prices.Titch0 -
im a graphic designer and we charge £80 for 1000 (our cheapest), artwork charge is extra. These are full colour gloss on front, black and white on reverse, not great quality though. I paid £150 for printing 500 cards (my own) but I wanted spot uv gloss...very nice! At the end of the day you get what you pay for.
Depending on your business sometimes its best to leave the reverse blank so you can write stuff down for the client ie quotes. If this is the case laminating isn't a good idea.
Hope this helps, LauraHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -

Hi there
I ALWAYS use Vistaprint for my business. Yes do get emails from them every couple of days but they are always offering special discounts etc and if you don't wantto read them it's easy to click 'delete'. They also offer business fridge magnets, stationery etc and you design it all yourself online. I've never had a problem with them, it's a first class service if you want basic business cards etcExperience is something you got AFTER you need it...0
