We are going to be stuck at Edinburgh airport for 12 hours next month whilst in transit.
Hotels nearby are really expensive.
Any ideas?

Bus to the city centre is £6 return. Loads to do in the city. Great buildings, lot of cultural activities, good pubs etc. If the 12 hrs is overnight there are cheap hotels on the bus route.0

Arrive at edinburgh 1.15 am. Don't know the city at all.
Next flight is 1.30 pm !!!
