re-claiming when PPI active or.....

I have a credit card currently with PPI acive and have been since november due to redundancy...
Is it possible to ask for charges and claim money back with this is in place?

Also... I have an older CC thats now with a collection agency and has been for nearly two years now, can i also go through the same process with this one? i know there were charges on it and obviously know the old CC number etc.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

yes thats fine and also for the one with the collection agency, but i would think if you win they might take the money off the one with the agency to reduce the balance
