Lowest Lifetime APR?

Options
So i had to call Capital One today for something - and just wanted to check on my APR, as to be honest I couldn't remember what it was. I thought it was 5.9% for life. (applied for the card a few years ago now)

Anyhow - I was told that I was only paying 1.54% APR? She also told me that if I wanted to do a balance transfer - they'd only charge me 13p per £100???? Can that be right?? Is there anywhere on my statement / account, that I can clarify this information??

Anyone else got a ridiculously low rate?

  • On your statement there will be a bit where it tells you what your estimated interest will be next month. Then it says something along the lines of "this is based on an APR of ....%". Capital One did do a credit card a few years back that tracked the BoE base rate and true to their word they seem to be sticking to it.
