Glad to hear the little one has gone to a wildlife centre in the meantime.
As stated, if you can leave the baby birds or put them back in the nest and keep an eye on them, that is the best thing to do.
You could also contact your local vet to see if they have anyone in your area that looks after wildbirds/animals to helps them get better before releasing them to the wild.
I do this myself and at this time of year get very busy.
Someone's cat brought this little one home last year
and ended up with me...weeks and week of day and night feeding etc it took for it to be released back into the wild
