I am as my name suggests a heating engineer and my extra income provides me with a little extra every month for luxuries. The opportunity also allowed me to fit it in round my 9-5...
I was sceptical when i started and since joining have seen many people say its a scam. I have found that people bad mouth these mlm companies when they lose money, can't bring in members or don't really try and expect something for nothing.... Some people just hate MLM
I agree there are some crooks across the web and quick searches via a good search engine should bring up all you need to know about a company or scam.
This is my first and only attempt at mlm apart from referring my mother to greasypalm. I earn approximately £350 per month and even recruited my other half to optimise our income.
In all honesty though i would say as a novice i did find it hard to recruit at first and the cheques did not always reflect the work done to recruit. Remeber in all businesses there has to be an outlay to get an income.
Do your homework before joining anything.
I wish you well and i hope you find a good business
I joined an mlm company a year ago in total ignorance! Soon discovered that it is an interesting and ethical way to start a new career, never had so much fun or met so many new people! It is a BUSINESS, it's not a job and like any other new business, there is a financial outlay. With mlm you have your own business but with the advantage of massive support and advice from the network. And like most things in life, you get out of it what you put in, it's NOT a get rich quick scheme. Wish I'd done it years ago tbh but I also appreciate it's not for everybody.
Good luck with your search, hope you find something suitable!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

MLM or pyramid schemes vary greatly from the likes of tupperware where you are selling a real product as well as trying to recruit new people under you to get your share of their earnings to ones which are purely about selling the company itself and there is no actual product.
To be honest money can be made out of both sorts but some people are ethically opposed to selling a concept rather than a product and others think that they can rake money in doing absolutally nothing which is never going to be true or everyone would be doing it.
I must admit to always being curious with these types of posts though.... there seems a lot of people out there who want to run a business (that happens to be from their home) and yet the majority of them are only interested in "buying into" an existing scheme rather than taking a blank sheet of paper and coming up with their own business. Now I can understand the concept that paying £50 for a marketing brief on how to get other people to pay you £50 to buy the same marketing brief off you is easier than the filling that blank sheet of paper but it is surprising that people arent even considering the new business option. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
