Had the building survey done this afternoon. I know I will have to wait for a few days to get the report. I have asked the surveyor to give me a quick call to let me know whether there are any big issues identified and he has not phoned. Is that a good sign, I am so anxious & very impatient? What are the procedures after a survey, do you normally wait for the written report?

Just ring tomorrow and check theres nothing major that might put you off, then wait for the report.
When we had ours done the surveyer didnt ring us, but told the EA it was fine when he dropped the keys back. So we just waited for the report.
But its nice to know if there are any nasties soon as possible!0
